In preparation for summer camp, our counselors underwent the ‘Prepared Pasadena Program’ to ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants. This comprehensive training included disaster preparedness to equip them with strategies for handling various emergencies, and emergency evacuation procedures to ensure swift and orderly relocations if necessary. Additionally, they received CPR training, providing them with hands-on experience and covered the proper use and maintenance of first aid kits, as well as training in fire extinguisher usage to effectively respond to fire-related incidents.
Thank you Pasadena Fire Department for today’s training.
Only a few spots remain for week one! The Pasadena Fire Department will welcome our campers, offering a chance to explore and be inspired by our local heroes. It’s an exciting opportunity to interact with firefighters, learn about their vital work, and engage in hands-on activities.
