Founded in 1961 as a “Mothers’ Club”, Families Forward Learning Center's mission is to prepare families living in isolation and poverty to succeed in school and in life through two-generation learning programs.

Join 🤗 for the Mayor’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, 5-7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2, at City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave. That's today! 🎄

Bring family and friends to this free celebration featuring local singers and dancers, crafts for kids provided by Armory Center for the Arts, light refreshments, and a special appearance by jolly ol’ Santa Claus. Have your camera handy to capture some festive holiday moments at several photo stops available throughout the event. 😜

18-month-old kids wiggle around a lot, and putting them on a bouncy lets them channel all that physical energy, while their bodies instinctively—and continually—engage core muscle groups to maintain balance. They also make good props to pose on when someone walks by with a camera. 🤗
