The Transition Age Youth Research and Evaluation Hub (TAY-Hub) has released a brief summarizing a peer-reviewed source article on food insecurity among transition-age youth exiting foster care.
The study found that staying in extended foster care and receiving greater amounts of public benefits reduced the risk of food insecurity during the transition into adulthood.
