Birney's Miracle Farm Market

The second corn planting of corn is ready! The stand is stocked with Precious Gem and Silver King corn, assorted peppers, squash, cucumbers, blue lake, half runner and roma green beans. We also found an assortment of small variety tomatoes that are ready. The stand is open today on the honor system.

We will be set ip at the Pataskala Farmers Market at the Veterans Green in downtown Pataskala this evening from 4-7. It's a beautiful day for the farmers market, stop by and see us!

We just restocked the stand with fresh picked cucumbers and zucchini. The next corn planting looks good, we may have some ready this weekend!

We just put the last of the Kick off sweet corn at the stand. This is the end of the first planting. It will be a few days before the next planting is ready. Stop by and get some before it's gone!

We still have plenty of slicing cucumbers at the stand. Pickling cucumbers are starting to produce well. If you want them in bulk for pickles, get your orders in!

We are also taking orders for Roma flat Italian beans.

The stand is open on the honor system and stocked with sweet corn, zucchini, slicing cucumbers and pickling cucumbers! We have lots of pickling cucumbers setting on, so don't be left in a pickle, and get your bulk orders in!

Our fresh picked, Non GMO, pesticide free, super sweet, bi color corn is ready! The stand is stocked and open on the honor system! We also have cucumbers, zucchini and yellow squash.

Who's ready for Birney's Miracle Farm sweet corn??? Our sweet corn was bigger than knee high by the 4th of July, in fact, we should have some ready this week! Keep checking back for updates on availability!

We have zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, sweet banana peppers and hot wax peppers that we will set up at the stand for sale starting tomorrow at 10am. Caren will be at the stand for a couple of hours, and then they will be available on the honor system.

Well planting season 2024 is finished with the last plantings of sweet corn, beans, and cucumbers going in the ground today. We also gave the kids a chance to earn a little money today and help plant the Asian long beans which have to be done by hand through the plastic mulch.

We can catch our breath for a minute but then it's on to preparing for harvest because the 1st beans and sweet corn are only a couple weeks away.

We're set up at the Pataskala Farmers Market this evening until 7pm! Stop by and see us and get some yummy greens!

Update time!!!

The hot dry weather has done a number on the strawberries, and they have pretty much stopped producing 😕 The late variety hasn't produced yet, but at this point, we're not sure if it will.

We are almost done planting everything else on the farm, and things are looking good! We're seeing blooms on the early tomatoes, and tassels on the early corn! We even found a couple ripe "cocktail" tomatoes, which I think is the earliest we've ever had a ripe tomato on the farm! (There aren't enough to sell yet, sorry).

Greens are getting ready (mustard, kale, bok choy, collards, radishes) and we can pick those to order for you. Just give us a call or message us on Facebook to place an order! 740-408-7750.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of rain over the last few weeks, today's 🍓🍓 berry pick isn't big enough to open the stand today. We had a few small orders, and have just enough to cover our orders 😬. We did get a decent amount of rain this week, so we're hopeful that the plants will rebound and continue to set on. We're seeing lots of blooms and green berries. Keep checking our page for updates! If you placed an order, I will be at the farm at 10 for pick ups.

Thank you to everyone that came out for our first strawberry picking event of the season! We had a really good turn out! They're calling for rain tomorrow, which we could really use at this point! We will create another event when we are able to do you pick again, and we will also post when we have pre-picked berries again! Than you all for spreading the word to your friends and family, and for supporting our family farm! We couldn't do what we love without you, our amazing customers!!!
