Here’s the *scoop* on our most recent first course. Chilled lemongrass and heirloom tomato soup, fresh churned cucumber sorbet, donut (!) croutons, and ginger crema.
It’s soup-er. 🍅🥒🍧

In honor of National Cheesesteak Day… a throwback to our vegan cheesesteak* that beat Bobby Flay! While it’s not something we serve at dinner, the full recipe is on our Patreon if you’d like to take a crack at it. Swipe for a cute BTS photoshoot pic with my forever inspiration, Grandmom Sybil, taken in 2022 at the Pantry a few months after filming the episode in NYC. ❤️🍴
* This vegan (🍄mushroom) cheesesteak wasn’t built in a day. I found out I’d be on the show just a few weeks prior to filming! To prepare, I made (and we allll ate) cheesesteaks almost daily, building and tweaking the recipe for taste and timing.

So humbled at your love for our soups, that we created the most recent Beet Your Meat episode around our beans and greens soup! Often served here during Italian nights, it’s a fennelly, brothy tomato soup with lots of veggies, beans and noods.
✨Our pro tip? Cook the pasta separately and add it last minute to each bowl to prevent a soggy noodle situation. ✨
Hope you like making this one at home! Link in bio to our Patreon, where this recipe and more like it live.
