The Philadelphia Building Trades is proud to announce that we have chosen a new charity to support for the All Star Labor Classic, The Superhero Project- Non Profit Foundation

The Superhero Project- Non Profit Foundation is a local 501(c)3 organization that was founded by a local mother who delivered twin boys 8 weeks early and spent some time in the NICU. Through her fundraising efforts, she has managed to provide support and help to local families with premature babies, and has partnered with over 20 NICU’s - providing Angel Eye Cameras where parents and families can view their babies from home 24/7.

As the 2024 season kicks off, we are hopeful that this will be our best year yet!

Exciting News! Yesterday we came together to celebrate a special moment - the renaming of 22nd Street, the street The Philadelphia AFL-CIO sits on to "Pat Eiding Way" in honor of a true local hero. Pat Eiding's dedication to the labor movement has helped make Philadelphia a better place.

Today was a very Historic day for the men and women of the Philadelphia Building Trades, and without question a very good day for the residents of Delco.

Today, the FIRST PLA in over 20 years in Delaware County was signed into action for the George W. Hill Correctional Facility Project.

A very special thanks goes to the Delaware County Council, and to all who had a hand in making this achievement possible.

This is the first of many future PLA’s for Delco.
