Local 19 was proud to host Secretary Julie Su and show her and her staff how an actual training center operates. Unionized Building Trade crafts invest millions of their own dollars a year into their apprentices, facilities, and curriculum to ensure the skilled and trained workforce of the future.

As we make historic investments in clean energy, we need to make sure that the jobs that are created in this field are GOOD jobs.

Glad to be in Pennsylvania today with Treasury Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo to talk about how President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act is creating a clean energy future for workers

The entire team at Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 19 and I hope everyone has a joyous and safe 4th of July.

The 4th of July is a time when we reflect on the values that define our nation: freedom, resilience, and unity. As we gather with family and friends to celebrate, let us also honor the hardworking men and women who have built this country and continue to shape its future.

Our union stands as a testament to the strength and solidarity of American workers. We fight every day to make sure that everyone who works hard and takes pride in their work enjoys the fruits of their labor through good wages, great benefits, and a dignified retirement. All of us are a part of the greater labor movement, and together we can, have, and will continue to achieve great things for our community and the country as a whole.

As we mark this special day, let us remember those who have sacrificed and contributed to the fabric of our society. Let us celebrate with gratitude for the opportunities and freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

Wishing you a happy 4th of July filled with union pride and family fun.
