The Field Teen Center joins the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with the opening of its new Spanish-language collection. Now you can enjoy novels, biographies, manga and graphic novels in your language!

The Tteen Ccenter expands its collection to the Spanish language with a variety of genres and authors. This initiative recognizes the need to include resources that reflect the interests of Philadelphia teens in their language.

The new collection features over 200 titles! Everyone will be able to access manga, graphic novels and non-fiction books by well-known authors. This is just the beginning in what will be a new programming plan for our Spanish-speaking population. The idea behind this initiative is to encourage reading and for teenagers to reconnect with their roots through language. At the moment, the collection will feature translations but is looking to expand to include books that were originally published in Spanish.
