Finishing the year strong, Max was recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) where he is completing the Radio and Broadcasting program specializing in sports journalism. Max received this honor based on his outstanding GPA, service to others, and perfect attendance (not bad for a chronically ill student!). However, Max’s drive for academic excellence didn’t stop there. One day after his induction into the Honor Society Max was awarded the “Student Award for Diligence” which reflects his continual perseverance to excel even in the face of all his obstacles. Always with a sense of humor and grace. We cannot be more proud of him as graduation nears next month. Onto the next goal, a degree in Sports Journalism! Go Max!
