The second Friday in April is commemorated as the LGBTQ Day of Silence. To raise awareness about bullying and harassment of LGBTQ students, people take a vow of silence on this date.
In honor of the work so many student organizations do to promote inclusivity on their campuses, we wanted to highlight Carl Hayden High School's Rainbow Club. This group is dedicated toward fostering a diverse and accepting environment within their school community. Recently, we supported their Color Run event, pictured here.
Share below if your club or team is participating in the LGBTQ Day of Silence! 🏳️🌈
We are thrilled to honor SMC's first-ever Student of Year, Anasofia Carranza of Agua Fria High School Band. Anasofia was presented with this award by her band sponsor, Jeremy Garcia, at Philanthropy Bar.
She has served as a section leader, band historian, and drum major, in addition to helping grow the trumpet section from one of the smallest sections to one of the largest.
She embodies leadership for the entire band, knowing that she must invest in her bandmates and see the band as a mirror of herself and her character.
She is attending the University of Arizona next year with the goal of becoming a high school band director.
Congratulations, Anasofia!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 12th annual Philanthropy Bar last week. We welcomed over 100 guests to learn from and interact with students from a dozen high schools across the valley. We learned about 3D printing from Genesis Academy's Cloudcraft Innovators, were cheered in by Betty Fairfax Cheer, were dazzled by Estrella Foothills' drama and technical theatre's costumes and set design, reflected on memorable student experiences with Camelback Montessori Club--and of course, raised thousands of dollars that went directly towards the needs of our participating clubs!
If you missed the event, we hope you'll join us next year. And don't worry--this newsletter is packed with other ways to impact our students and their clubs!
Join the movement on ! With your generous donations, girls across the valley can hit the court with confidence! Your support provides basketballs, uniforms, and essential equipment, empowering them to pursue their passion and excel on the court. Together, we're shaping future champions!

🎩🇺🇸 **Happy Presidents Day!** 🇺🇸🎩
Today, we celebrate the legacies of our nation's leaders, past and present. Did you know that Presidents Day was originally established to honor George Washington's birthday? It later evolved to include Abraham Lincoln and now honors all U.S. presidents.
In honor of Presidents Day, the Support My Club office will be closed today and will reopen tomorrow.🎉🏛️
🎉🌵 Happy Birthday, Arizona! 🌵🎉
Today marks a special day in history as we celebrate Arizona's vibrant and diverse state! On February 14th, 1912, President William Howard Taft made it official by signing legislation that welcomed Arizona into the Union as the 48th U.S. state. 🇺🇸✨
Did you know? Before achieving statehood, Arizona proudly stood as a U.S. territory for nearly half a century, brimming with rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and a pioneering spirit that continues to define it today. From the majestic Grand Canyon to the bustling streets of Phoenix, Arizona's beauty and resilience capture the hearts of all who call it home and those who visit.
So let's raise a toast to the Grand Canyon State, with its endless blue skies, stunning sunsets, and warm hospitality! Happy 112th birthday, Arizona! Here's to many more years of growth, prosperity, and endless adventures under the desert sun! ☀️🎂🎈
🗓️ Mark your calendars! Our signature event, Philanthropy Bar, is just around the corner. Please join us on Tuesday, April 2 for food, fun and fundraising on behalf of the clubs we support! Tickets are FREE; use the link in our bio to get yours.

🌟DID YOU KNOW?🌟 Brock Purdy, hailing from Queen Creek, AZ, and a proud Perry High School alum, dominated the gridiron and diamond, ranking nationally and statewide in multiple stats. As the Super Bowl captivates us, let's remember the pivotal role of extracurriculars in shaping athletes like Purdy. Beyond the game, they cultivate values, leadership, and teamwork. Principal Heather Patterson's words resonate: Purdy embodies integrity and selflessness. Let's honor their journey and invest in the future champions. Donate today to support Valley students aspiring to follow in Purdy's footsteps! 🏈
