Congratulations to Dr. Stephen Canton on being selected for the Orthopaedic Research Society Clinician Scholar Career Development Program (CSCDP), held in Rosemont, Illinois in October. The CSCDP is an annual two-day training workshop for orthopaedic residents in their PGY2-PGY5 years, surgeons in fellowships, and junior faculty (through year three) who have the potential and desire to become orthopaedic clinician scholars.

Clinician scholars are transforming the future of orthopaedics through their commitment to innovative research, and we could not be prouder of all of our residents and fellows at PittOrtho.

It was a special night in Pittsburgh as we welcomed our guests from around the world to this year’s Freddie Fu Panther Sports Medicine Symposium.

Honored speakers and guests gathered to celebrate and remember Dr. Freddie Fu, who created the Panther Symposium nearly 30 years ago to foster collaboration among global leaders in sports medicine . Dr. Fu’s family was on hand to mark the occasion, as the symposium was officially named after its founder. The event kicks off three-days of presentations, demos, lectures, and panel discussions for the nearly 150 in attendance.

We thank everyone for making the journey to mark this special event with us and we look forward to meeting and working with you in the days ahead.
