We hosted our Oscar Dog training and certification weekend. Two recipients received their service dogs and attended the weekend long training to become familiar with the commands and tasks that their dogs have be trained to do. They were joined by past recipients who brought their service dogs to demonstrate that the dogs still know all of their trained seizure response tasks.

Sarah trained the staff at the Selinsgrove New Story Schools location on how to identify and respond to a person having a seizure.
Each year the Zonne Fund sponsors a family to attend Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland (EADDL). This week we surprised the family with the news that they are attending EADDL and included some Disney swag to prepare for their trip.
This year the EAWCP is able to send two additional families to EADDL thanks to funding from Sofie's Journey through Epilepsy Alliance America. The Zonne Fund and EAWCP are also chipping in to make the experience for both families even more magical.

In an effort, to raise awareness and funds for the EAWCP our friend and epilepsy warrior, Tony Deluca, is going to start a 286 mile run on the Pennsylvania section of North Country Trail. He and a friend will start at the Ohio state line on Tuesday, July 2nd with a goal of 5-6 days to reach the NY state line!

The EAWCP was a participating organization in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community in Altoona.
We hosted our 36th Annual Pittsburgh Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy. Colleen was on Q92.9 and did a radio interview to promote the event. In addition we also received media coverage from KDKA and WPXI. This was a phenomenal way to promote awareness for our organization and the epilepsy community.
Our Camp Frog kicked off at Camp Fitch.
