Our Story
The Perfect Fit, a premier program of YWCA Allentown and PA Workwear site, is dedicated to the empowerment of women and girls, social justice, and strengthening our community. Some of the tools that we use are style and clothing. Since 2000, The Perfect Fit has outfitted over 700 women and girls with 100,00 articles of business and uniform clothing, shoes, and accessories. It’s more than the outfit, it’s the process. Through our professional development series, clients are empowered with the knowledge and confidence needed to ace their interview and start a new career. We partner with local agencies and schools to conduct personal power workshops for young women.
Over 75 agencies in three counties refer clients to us for clothing to wear for skills development, interviews and first week wardrobes, all at no cost to the client. Women and girls are served because of the amazing support from individuals and organizations in the Valley. We accept clean, current style clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. New in package personal care items are welcome. Financial contributions support the purchase of specialized needs such as steel-toed boots.
Through our actions and words, every person who comes in contact with The Perfect Fit is heard, valued, and empowered. Contact us at 610-871-5060 or [email protected] to join our story!
