In 2017 we weren't sure if we'd have seven weeks with our dear Milo, who battled with cancer. Seven YEARS later, he still continues to amaze us 💚

And we 💯 know that his mom Jen is the reason. Her unending love and constant care has given our one-eyed hospice pug the absolute best life a senior pet could ever hope to have.

Thanks to our generous supporters, you raised more than $1,000 for our seniors. Your donations will go toward things like medical bills for our loving boy Sport, who is wishing for his very own Christmas tree this holiday season 🎄

Six more weeks of winter? Mooch isn't happy about the news.

Introducing Mooch! This gorgeous gal completes our trifecta of feline friends. She joins Sport and Simba as our newest senior.

We'll keep you updated while they settle in with us. Welcome to the family, sweet girl.

On this last day of 2022, we are heartbroken to let you know that sweet Baxter is no longer with us.

At SPAAR we do everything we can to make our seniors feel happy, healthy, safe, at peace, and at home. No matter what we tried, Baxter just didn't get there.

We could go through the laundry list of his issues, ailments, and problems. But, in the end, he was an old dog that was searching, pleading for an end to his pain.

Thank you to his foster Jen who did literally everything she could to bring Baxter comfort. While he did know pain, he also knew love.

Baxter, we hope you're resting easy now. We miss you 💔

We're excited to introduce you to a brand new SPAAR senior, Sportacus!

"Sport" is 18 or 19 and was placed outdoors a few months ago after being an indoor kitty all his life. A good samaritan picked him up, and now our foster Katie is spoiling him rotten.

We've got to get him back into the vet to see what we're dealing with from a medical perspective. But, for now, he's comfy and cozy for the holidays.

This little old man is Baxter. His human dad is currently on hospice. 😞 He was very loved his whole life. The family is not able to keep him. He is 13 years old. He is neutered and house broken. He likes other dogs and children. Cats are unknown.
