Are you thinking about taking summer classes? Do you need financial aid to help cover the cost?
Financial aid for the summer term is limited. If you are interested, you will need to fill out the 2023-2024 Summer Financial Aid Request Form: https://www.uwplatt.edu/department/financial-aid.
Keep in mind, the Federal Pell Grant is available for undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor's degree who are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours. Federal Direct Loans are available depending upon the students use of loans during the academic year.

The IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) is being replaced by a new direct data exchange with the IRS. Now, all that’s needed is consent and approval to retrieve and disclose federal tax info.

Did you think you had your ducks in a row by completing the 2024-2025 FAFSA, but you are concerned as you haven't received information from UW-Platteville regarding your financial aid package?
Don't worry, your FAFSA is still being processed by the U.S. Department of Education. Schools will be sent completed FAFSA data in late January. Watch your PASS to do list for information we may need from you, and watch your email for updates regarding processing times.

Attention Transfer Students.
To receive financial aid at UW-Platteville, you need to cancel your spring aid at your previous school. We will not be able to provide you with a financial aid package until that task is complete. You will also need to update your 2023-2024 FAFSA to include UW-Platteville's school code (003921).
