We will be implementing a new check-in procedure this year using QR code technology. We will have a QR code on each table and you can scan the code with your phone and complete the short info data fields. Everyone that checks in will receive a special raffle ticket and we will hold several drawings for prizes during the game (and all of the games this season). This is a national OSUAA program and the Club that has the most check-in’s during the season will receive a $500 check for their scholarship program. Another Club will be selected by random drawing for a $200 check. We will have Board members going around the bar helping people and handing out raffle tickets. Thanks to everyone that participated last Saturday!!

Michigan Head Coach Sherrone Moore Could Face Show-Cause Penalty and Suspension for Violating NCAA Rules, Notice of Allegations Draft States Sherrone Moore is one of seven members of the 2023 Michigan football program accused of violating NCAA rules, according to a draft of the NCAA's notice of allegations.

Many of you have contacted us about tickets for the Oregon game on October 12th at Autzen. Unfortunately we did not receive any tickets for our general membership to this game. We have been telling people to check the on-line ticket services like StubHub or Ticketmaster (just to name a few) for tickets. We will be holding a tailgate on game day at the stadium. 2024 Season Game Watch Location Update!!

After several months of searching, we are excited to announce that we have worked out an agreement with the Independent Sports Bar and Grill to host us for the upcoming football season. The Independent has 34 screens, 20 rotating taps, and a full kitchen menu
plus it’s a family-friendly establishment. This year we will have an elevated raffle, including autographed and higher-value items to raise money for our scholarship fund.

Wine Collecting, Aging, & Storage Seminar

Please join certified Sommelier, Ellen Crivella, at 6:00pm Pacific on Wednesday, May 15th for a discussion about how to start collecting wines. She will cover the characteristics that make certain wines more suitable for aging than others, typical characteristics of the sensory aspects of aged wines, and tips for properly storing your own burgeoning collection at home or off-site.

During the class Ellen recommends participants have a Cabernet Sauvignon or a Riesling for tasting, which will illustrate some of the qualities of ageable varietals.

We will be using MS Teams for the video feed. Please RSVP Ellen at [email protected] by Monday, May 13th. Ellen will then send you a meeting invite including instructions on how to download MS Teams if you don’t already have it on your system.

This will probably be our last event for the spring. Events and attendance is an important factor that OSUAA considers when granting tickets to games and other OSU activities. Please RSVP Ellen if you can.
