Campus is alive with excitement! ⚽️ Student, Eduardo has been organizing pick-up Futsal matches all summer long!
"I have two favorite parts: One would have to be the relationships that have been built and continue being built. We’ve seen so many new faces connect with students and with other community members and have had lots of laughs and great conversations. Getting to know so many new people has been great. My second favorite part would be Futsal Friday’s where we host a mini tournament with a mini cup; the community cup 🏆." Eduardo shares.
The best part, everyone's invited! Reach out to him or drop by Friday and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. to join in the fun.
"We want people who come through the doors to know we're here for them, to serve and to make great memories."
Let's kick it! 🌟

"I would describe my experience at Multnomah as transformational.
I chose Multnomah because I wanted to grow in my faith while playing soccer. I developed my connection with God, built relationships with others, and gained an education along the way. I received mentorship from professors and faculty where I learned valuable life lessons and developed as a person."
Leadership and Management graduate Sarah Wong

"Multnomah has helped me grow in so many ways. I came to Multnomah afraid to put myself out there, but through this experience, I have been encouraged to step into leadership roles and positions that I would not have considered before. My confidence in my faith and ability to speak in front of others has grown immensely."
- English major Marissa Sandage

Theology Professor, Paul Louis Metzger, recently published his twelfth book, "More Than Things: A Personalist Ethics for a Throwaway Culture."
For Professor Metzger, "Society often reduces people’s value to dollars. Whoever does not benefit the market is thrown away. However, God is supremely personal and doesn’t allow people to be cheapened. Contextualizing Jesus’ words about the Sabbath, the market was made for humanity, not humanity for the market. My son Christopher endured a catastrophic brain injury three years ago. Even though minimally conscious, he’s a human person with inherent worth. My hope is that the book’s readership comes away realizing that, like Christopher, they’re far more important than things.”
You can hear more about his latest book on the Point of View radio show on April 15th at Noon (Pacific). Listen here: https://pointofview.net/shows/

"My time at Multnomah has been a continuous journey of learning and personal growth, shaping me into a better person. I've also been fortunate to connect and build relationships with incredible people from different parts of the world, whom I'm confident I'll stay in contact with in the future.
I've definitely grown in my professional skills, as a student, and as a leader. Being part of the soccer team, joining different clubs on campus, and gaining hands-on experience through internships have all played a significant role in my development."
- Accounting major Jaime Cantalejo De Dios

Each person has a different "Why" behind choosing an education at Multnomah.
For Senior, Sam Hess, "Multnomah was the perfect university for me to attend as it was not far from home, it was Christian, and it was beautiful. I always tell people I came for biology, but I stayed because of the beauty of campus and the people and friendships that I have formed here."
🌷🌞🌳
The countdown is on to Spring Commencement here at Multnomah. Did you know it is almost one month away? 🎓
For graduate student Ella Salvatori, the day comes as bittersweet as she closes the chapter in her time at Multnomah: "Being part of a close-knit community has been a true blessing, and one of the things I'll miss most about Multnomah is its people. It's where I met my best friend, found a supportive community of believers, and realized my calling. The faculty and staff at MU are deeply committed to every student, equipping us extensively for success beyond college."
She adds, "I found my worth by seeing myself through God's eyes, I discovered what I like/do not like, I found a church to plant in, and I've embarked on a path dedicated to living a life of Godliness."
Congratulations, Ella! Well done! 🌟
The sun is shining, birds are chirping—spring has arrived on campus! 🌷☀️
Each person has a different "Why" behind choosing an education at Multnomah.
Junior, Manuela Arango, explains hers "I chose Multnomah University for three reasons. First, because it will help me maintain and grow my faith. The second one because I had heard good things of the business program in this school. Third, I was recruited to play for the Women's Soccer team!"
We can't wait to keep cheering you on, Manuela, on and off the field! ⚽
"I have experienced such an incredible blessing from first the love and secondly the wisdom of a multitude of Christlike professors dedicated to my flourishing!"
For sophomore Cade Renken, feeling called to study Bible and Theology at Multnomah is rooted in his "deep desire to open up the Scriptures with illuminated eyes both for myself but, more importantly, with others that I might share with them the good news that has transformed my own life!"
We're so proud of you, Cade!

Meet Jean, a first-year seminary student at Multnomah, specifically focused on the Old Testament.
Jean shares, "My goal is to know the truth of the scripture and be able to faithfully communicate that truth and bless people so that they can understand and live the way the Lord has intended, which is the best way in Christ Jesus."
We can't wait to see how the Lord continues to use you, Jean.
