Sharing from Oregon Housing and Community Services!
"Yesterday, we got to attend the grand opening for Peace Village, a new 70-unit housing co-op in Eugene for low-income families. Each home in the co-op is energy efficient, keeping sustainability as well as accessibility as a priority.
Thank you to SquareOne Villages and all the partners who made this happen, and congratulations to the new residents!"

Just a reminder that we are now taking applications for our 2024 scholarships!

According to 2023 recipient Belen Cortez: "The Sister Adele Scholarship was able to provide not only financial relief but also emotional relief to me because it was money that wasn’t out of my family’s pocket. To me this was important because I did not want to burden my family with the cost of tuition in addition to bills, food, and basic necessities. My family was not eligible to receive any of the stimulus checks that were given, so I felt pressured to find money through scholarships in order to afford attending college."

We have scholarships available to post-secondary students from farmworker families looking to attend college, trade school or university. Applications are due February 16 Follow the link to learn more and help us spread the word: https://casaoforegon.org/sister-adele-scholarship/
