I've often been asked, "Why do my onions have small bulbs?"
My answer: "Don't Plant Too Deep!"

Plant too deep and you'll end up with smaller bulbs because the soil will restrict the plants from bulbing properly. Plant your bulbs halfway and cover your crop with mulch or straw. Try it and let me know how it goes!

The woman who had/has been stealing from the Garden is now engaged in calling up people who are trying to have community/kid friendly events at the Garden, saying she is "calling in partnership with a lawyer and that the Garden is under investigation for some ridiculous reasons. Rest assured we are not under investigation for anything. This is a screen shot of the number she is calling from. If you happen to get a call from this number, please let us know. She is under a "no trespass" order so her thieving is hopefully thwarted. So now she is finding other ways to harass the Garden and the people who are trying to enjoy it.
Sorry..... π
