Sometimes we do not realizes how much of an impact we make on others in our day to day lives. You are a leader whether you notice it or not! 😁

This is a statement we firmly believe in at Catalyst. When a child knows that someone cares about them and sees them and values who they are, they want to show up. They want to be the best version of themselves. As a mentor, you get to encourage a child, you get to be their cheerleader.

Part of our learning in life is also bestowing the information onto others. As a Catalyst Mentor you can help equip children with more knowledge to help them succeed in life.

We want to give a huge shout out to all of our amazing mentors who are closing the mentoring gap in our community! Together, we are creating a future of opportunity for youth, providing them with access to important relationships and resources. We would like to thank Chris Cable, owner of Caliber Office Furniture, for his incredibly generous donation!

Along with the snacks, he donated a new copy of one of our most popular games, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza! He also included rubber bands for making bracelets, which is a favorite activity among our mentees!

Chris is always so incredibly generous to us and we can't thank him enough!

When children have a mentor, they are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Showing up for children during the most precious years of their lives, makes a bigger impact than many would think!

Many of the children we work with come from all different backgrounds and situations, but the biggest thing we notice is how much reassurance they need. Children having a mentor to help boost their confidence can change the trajectory of their lives. ✨

After 4 years of incredible service to Catalyst Mentoring, our beloved Jenna Berry is moving on to new adventures as the Executive Director of Pathways to Hope. We’re grateful for her leadership and excited for what’s to come, both for her and for Catalyst. Our board of directors is taking proactive steps to ensure the continuation of our programs and initiatives. Our dedicated team and volunteers will continue working tirelessly to uphold our mission and values. Stay tuned for updates!
