EKU announces expansion of EKU BookSmart program to all students Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) announced the expansion of its EKU BookSmart program during the university’s fourth annual Giving Day on Wednesday.

Important Registration Information:
Students will need to create a free student account with TEEX to register if they do not already have one. Students will also need to provide a FEMA student ID. A FEMA SID uniquely identifies students throughout the FEMA organization and all of its agencies. It serves as a student’s personal identification number and combines all of their FEMA training records under one account to simplify tracking of all their FEMA training accomplishments.

Madison County Schools is also partnering with Eastern Kentucky University and multiple Richmond, Berea, and Madison County agencies and businesses to host a donation drive for our fellow Kentuckians impacted by the devastating floods. Please consider dropping off a donation to the EKU Center for the Arts or Berea Fire Station #1 this Thursday, August 4th. Donations can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The EKU Center for the Performing Arts is located at 822 Hall Drive in Richmond and Berea Fire Station #1 is located at 212 Chestnut Street in Berea.
