He will present the M.S. in Accounting program at Chapman University and the semester hours needed to take the CPA Exam for those interested in attaining a CPA license.

Hi everyone! We're having a meeting this Tuesday night at 7:00 PM, Glen Moor C001. The meeting will be about Big 4 tips and skills for those who want to go into the four largest public accounting firms. There will be professionals from each firm; Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PWC.

Come to learn about their experiences, how they got into their careers, and to also enjoy some free pizza!

We are excited to announce that Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Society will be working together as we will be hosting two CPA firms next week.

First we are glad to welcome RSM, a national leading provider of tax, audit, and consulting practices ranked 5th on Accounting Today's Top 100 Firms List at our special collaboration meeting. This meeting will be on Monday, January 28th at 7PM in HUB 265,

RSM professionals are currently looking to recruit first and second year accounting students for their Pathways Summer Program, which can ultimately lead up to internship placements and possible full-time offers! Current third year accounting students who are planning on getting their masters are eligible as well. Attendees must come in business professional attire and bring resume copies to present to our guests during the networking session. Research the firm prior to attending, and come prepared with great questions to ask during the meeting. As always, food will be provided on site.

The following day, Tuesday, January 29th at 7PM in HUB 260, we would like to welcome Soren McAdams, a regional firm based in Redlands, serving mainly the Inland Empire and Southern California with specialties in industries such as healthcare, forensics, and construction. They are also apart of CalCPA's Top 150 firms! The attire will be business casual and bring resume copies.

Good afternoon Accounting Society,

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! We will not have a meeting tonight, but use this time to take advantage of this opportunity and apply for this tax internship at Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co., LLP, a CPA firm in Rancho Cucamonga.

The internship would be from January - April 2019 and if the candidate works out well with the firm, the firm would offer them a full time position upon graduation at our Rancho Cucamonga location.

The criteria the firm is looking for is:
-Candidate needs to graduate with a Bachelors or Masters in the year of 2019

-Candidate needs to have the 150 units to sit for the CPA exams upon graduation

-Candidate’s accounting GPA needs to be a 3.0 or higher
VTD does not sponsor, so we would not be able to take any students that need sponsorship

If you or somebody you know is interested and meets the criteria, please email [email protected] and state in the body of the email that you are applying for the tax internship. Remember to attach your resume in the email as well. Their representative will then schedule an interview if your resume suits their needs.

The deadline to submit your resume is Friday, November 30th, 2018.

Hello Accounting Society!

We hope you had a great first week of fall quarter! The Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi are happy to announce that we will be hosting a national leading provider of tax, audit, and consulting practices ranked 5th on Accounting Today's Top 100 Firms List at our special collaboration meeting. Come out and join us as we gladly welcome RSM on TUESDAY, October 9th at 7PM in AGSM 21.

There will be eight professionals in attendance and we will be holding a panel style presentation. They are currently recruiting third and fourth year accounting students for internships and full-time positions! This is also a great opportunity for first and second years to get their foot in the door and network for the their Pathways Summer Program recruitment later in the school year.

Attendees must come in business professional attire and bring resume copies to present to our guests during the networking session. Research the firm and come prepared with questions to ask during the meeting. As always, food will be provided on site.
