👉 Our parish group St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral - Pittsburgh, PA hosted pro-life author Kh. Frederica Mathewes-Green to speak at a retreat. What an amazing turnout!

Having been a committed Orthodox Christian for almost 20 years, Sophia’s pro-life involvement is highly personal; her six children are the fruits of her and her husband’s commitment to living “pro-life.” As a member of the leadership team for one of the first start-up parish groups to join OCLife, she has borne witness to the beautiful rebirth and flourishing of this ministry at the parish level. Additionally, her decade-long work founding the Myrrhbearers Burial Society highlights her commitment to the sanctity of life, from birth to the grave. It is her honor to use the gifts God has given her to advance the life-giving mission of OCLife at the national level.
