Inderkum Safe and Sober Grad will be held this Thursday night and into the following Friday morning at Dave and Busters in Roseville! The night will consist of: games, food, beverages, DJ Eddie Z, dancing , hypnotist, t-shirts, and so much more!
This is a fun and safe way for our seniors to celebrate their graduation!

In athletics this week, good luck to our baseball teams as they will be hosting Woodcreek at Woodcreek on Thursday. Good luck to our undefeated boys tennis team as they will be hosting Roseville HS on Monday at Inderkum. Good luck to the softball team this week as they will be hosting East Nicolaus on Wednesday and Woodcreek on Friday; both games will be at Freedom Park. Good luck to the Boys Volleyball team as they host Yuba City HS on Monday night at Inderkum. Good luck to all of our swimmers that have qualified for the section swim meet. Good luck to our boys golf team this week as they host Roseville on Thursday at Teal Bend.
In activities this week, the leadership classes are hosting a carnival on Friday afternoon called The Growl Fest in the stadium from 3:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. There will be club activities, food trucks, balloon animals and a DJ. Students must present their school ID to attend.
The annual Parent/Family Survey gathers important feedback about people's perceptions of academics, college and career readiness, climate, and parent engagement. This survey is different from the LCAP survey as it targets only parents/guardians (not all stakeholders) and asks questions about a school site only, not the district nor the LCAP. This is a great opportunity for site leaders and staff to collect important feedback from our students' families to inform our SPSA and other plans for 2022-23. English Spanish

The competition is open to all Inderkum students. The theme is "Resiliency, Optimism and Skills." Three (3) Major Awards will be given to the winning entries. Attendance matters at Inderkum HS: When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic prospects and chances for graduating. The student attendance goal for Inderkum HS is 95%, which is no more than one day for the remainder of the school year. We know that attendance this year has been impacted by COVID. Now that COVID cases are decreasing, let's work together to get your child attending school each day when they are healthy. There are still tickets available for this year's Annual IB Gala & Live Auction Fundraiser ! The proceeds from this event benefit the program in a variety of ways including: subsidizing additional classroom supplies, sponsoring student enrichment activities, university tours, and scholarships. The Gala will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Four Points By Sheraton located at 4900 Duckhorn Drive, Sacramento, CA 95834. This event is an evening for the 21 and older to dress to impress, enjoy food, dancing, live and silent auction items, no host bar, and much more!

In activities news, we are so excited about the 2022 Junior/Senior prom being held on Saturday, May 7th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Town and Country Event Center in Rancho Cordova. Ticket prices are $50 without an ASB sticker and $40 with an ASB sticker. Tickets are sold during both lunches in the student store - cash or a credit card only - no personal checks will be accepted. (Students should purchase tickets during their lunch only). Tickets can also be purchased online by clicking here. Unfortunately, tickets for guests can not be purchased online, as they require an approved guest pass. The last day to purchase a ticket for the Prom will be May 2, 2022, but don't wait until the last minute - be one of the first to get your tickets now! If you are planning to bring a guest, please pick up a guest pass application at the front office. Please drop off your guest pass request no later than 3:15 p.m. on Monday, April 26th. Remember, guest passes need to be completed and accepted before their ticket can be purchased. One guest is allowed per student, and guests must not be older than 19 years of age. 9th or 10th grade students may attend if they are invited on a guest pass. The ticket includes dinner, which will be served from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Doors will close at 8:30 pm for attendees and no student or guest will be allowed to leave prior to 10:30 p.m. without parental or guardian approval. We look forward to seeing our students dressed for an elegant evening event. We are also happy to provide transportation for those who would like to travel to the event together with their friends. Open House is Thursday, March 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to see all of the great things that students have been working on this year.
Please drop by PTSA's table to get to know us, learn what we do, pick up fliers and forms (Membership, Scholarship, Safe and Sober Grad Night, etc.) and check out any upcoming events we have. There are still Jamba cards for anyone who wish to purchase and cards are available for pick up that day. Konkrete Kitchen's Food Truck will be on site selling their delicious food to support PTSA. Koncrete Kitchen will serve food before the event, beginning at 5:30 pm. See you there.

Students in grades 9-11 still have the opportunity to provide information about experiences at their school through the Social-Emotional and Climate/Culture Survey they will participate in during the month of March. The survey asks questions about whether students feel safe at school, can achieve high marks, how they treat others, and how they feel they are treated at school. Student responses are confidential and will help identify specific areas for the school's improvement and respond to barriers in academic achievement.

PTSA is happy to announce that they are now accepting applications for college scholarships. Up to $2,000 in scholarships will be awarded to applicants with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 and at least 40 hours of volunteer service to at least two (2) organization sponsored events or local community events. The application form is available on the IPTSA webpage and the deadline for submission is April 15th at 5:00 p.m. Application form, together with the required documents, must be submitted via Google Forms at https://tinyurl.com/IPTSA-ScholarshipSY21-22
Also, PTSA has Board Member and Committee vacancies for next school year. Applications are available at https://www.inderkumptsa.org. For the Open House on May 31st, drop by PTSA's table to get to know them and learn what they do, pick up forms and check out any upcoming events they have. There are still Jamba cards for anyone who wish to purchase and cards are available for pick up that day. Konkrete Kitchen's Food Truck will be on site selling their delicious food to support PTSA.
PTSA is teaming up once again with Dream Dinners for a fundraiser event. For just $50, you can pick up three medium dinners to take home to your family. Each medium dinner serves 3 people. $10 from each purchase will be donated to IPTSA, with an additional $20 for anyone who signs up to return for a standard order. As a quick reminder, Inderkum High School is a closed campus and our students should remain on campus during the school day. Per our student handbook, outside food delivery services are not permitted on campus. These are both important safety policies that help us to provide the safest environment for our students.
Please know that toy guns that shoot Orbeez gel balls are not allowed on campus. These can cause injuries to others and create an unsafe environment. Parents, please let your students know not to bring these objects to school, as possession of them on campus will result in disciplinary action.
