A little late to the party, as per usual, but wanted to give y'all a nice glimpse at veraison working its way up our slopes. The countdown to harvest is ON!

Kayla and Robert describe themselves as a mama and papa with a baby and a wine brand. Botaneity is their love letter to Mother Earth, producing small-batch wines in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon. Through sleepy eyes and wine-soaked hearts, they share a deep love for art, sustainability, family, and gathering. With their little one in tow, they craft each bottle by hand, focusing on minimalist methods and sustainable practices—making memories and sharing the love along the way.
Stop by the Tasting Room between 11 AM-5 PM to try their wines and hear their story.
It’s been our pleasure to host so many incredible small producers this summer! Though this series is coming to an end, we look forward to introducing you to even more in the future…
The reviews for our 2022 vintage are in!

Founded in 2018 by Erich Berg, Ricochet was inspired by Erich’s journey of bouncing back—from winemaker to English teacher and back to winemaking. Ricochet is driven by a deep commitment to community while crafting naturally balanced, terroir-driven wines through low-impact winemaking. Erich’s goal is to offer wines that are accessible to a wide range of people while also giving back. In fact, Ricochet donates 5% of sales to local and regional non-profits that help others bounce back from difficult situations.

We’re honored to share this new review from and Eric Guido . Thank you for coming to visit and taking the time to taste our wines!
For us, a Reserve wine has to be something special – or else we won’t make one. Not only does it have to be an impeccable growing season, but the wine must have depth, complexity, typicity and adequate structure and acidity to carry it through aging. Our 2021 vintage was outstanding, and we’re thrilled to share this wine with you all.

Zē Wines began in 2021 when Owner/Winemaker Zane Morris crafted his first small-lot Pinot Noir Piquette during harvest. Fueled by his newfound passion, Zane expanded production in 2022 to 125 cases, including Pinot Noir Rosé, Riesling, Sparkling Pét-Nat, and Piquette. Zē Wines aims to create approachable, high-quality wines for everyone to enjoy, reflected in the brand’s name—a nod to the gender-neutral pronoun “Zē” and Zane’s first initial. With the help of family and friends, these wines were lovingly brought to life and are best enjoyed with good food, great music, and those you love.

Augustina Cellars is a collaboration born from the enduring friendship of Diana Schultz and Lee McCollins. Their journey began at summer church camp in the mid-‘90s, where they forged a bond that has grown stronger over the years. United by shared values of compassion, service, and an unwavering appreciation for life’s finer moments, they embarked on a new adventure as co-owners of Augustina Cellars. Diana, inspired by varietals like Syrah, Tempranillo, and Sauvignon Blanc, crafts each wine with intentionality and care while Lee oversees marketing and sales. Every bottle from Augustina Cellars tells their story of beautiful friendship, shared joy, and the pursuit of dreams.

The name, ‘Arabilis,’ meaning arable or farmable land, embodies Kenny and Allison McMahon’s close partnership with farmers and their aspiration to own a vineyard someday. The husband-wife team bonded over their shared passion for wine while studying wine in graduate school. With two PhDs in wine, they craft wines that reflect a deep understanding of both the science and art of winemaking. Today, they proudly offer Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and traditional method sparkling wines.

Liska Wine Co. is an itty-bitty family winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, with a focused intent on highlighting the region’s compelling, yet under-represented, wine grape varieties. Since their inaugural 2021 vintage, Liska-named after their beloved German Shepard-has crafted single-varietal wines of Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Gamay Noir and Syrah, all from the Eola-Amity Hills and with original artwork to match their respective wines.

Bryan and Emily created Human Cellars after more than 20 years of wandering the earth. Every wine is crafted to reflect the personality of people who have made the world a better place.
The philosophy of Human Cellars is simple- farm it following the rhythms of nature without the use of chemicals; keep it pure in the winery without fining, filtering or additions (save for a bit of sulfur); and be an active part of the community where you live. The grapes from all of their wines are all farmed using organic and/or biodynamic methods, either by them directly or through their partner vineyards.

Ok, it's really hot 🔥 🥵
- This week's Taco Tuesday will be postponed to a later, cooler date.
- It's not a bad idea to book your tasting inside. We have plenty of windows, the view is still gorgeous, and we can always move you outside when you arrive if you prefer.
- We still have oodles of shade for the hardy outdoor appreciaters, but maybe keep the pets at home until it cools off a bit 🐶
Drink a lot of water, check in on your neighbors, and stay cool 😎

Iterum Wines, established in 2019, is located just down a country road from us here in the Eola-Amity Hills. This project marks the second chapter for celebrated Willamette Valley Winemaker Joe Dobbes and his wife Patricia. After more than three decades in the industry, Joe launched Iterum Wines to return to his roots. The name “Iterum” translates from Latin to “again,” “afresh,” or “once more,” embodying the spirit of renewal and dedication to quality.
Iterum Wines produces an annual 2,000 cases, featuring Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Méthode Traditionelle Sparkling Wine from their organic, dry-farmed estate, The Orchard House Vineyard. The portfolio also includes a selection of ‘Old Friends’—bottlings crafted from exceptional vineyards, varietals, and rare clones that Joe has worked with over the past 37 vintages, each integral to his winemaking journey.

Home to some of the oldest planted Grüner-Veltliner, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, and Pinot Gris in the country, they are committed to transforming the land into a sustainable farm. In 2006, Grant and Renée moved to the Willamette Valley, eager to join its world-class Pinot Noir producers. With a decade of experience in cellars and vineyards, Grant’s passion and expertise set the stage for their own venture. In 2015 their dream was realized when Renée left her job in education, they sold their house, and put all the money into their first 450 cases. Since then, they’ve grown Hundred Suns through experience and grit, the two of them still managing all aspects of the winery. Their wines are known for being classically delicious with a special, undefinable quality!

Kicking off Small Producer Sundays is the magical !!!!
Winemaker Paul Johnson is the boldly beating heart of Satyr Fire, a winery primarily dedicated to aromatic white wines that jump from the glass with fresh aromatics and electric acidity. He works with a myriad of local growers to craft ethereal and spirited wines that bring a sense of wonder and mysticism into the Willamette Valley's identity. We've loved watching him, his winery, and his family grow into something truly unique, and we're so happy to feature him in our courtyard all day Sunday. He's got quite a passionate following, so be sure to make a reservation!
Small producer Sundays are a weekly feature at our tasting room through the summer. Each week, a different producer without a tasting room of their own will be invited to our courtyard to pour a small flight of their best wines for our guests. We remember how difficult it can be not having a tasting room to call home, and we believe small producers are the soul of our region, keeping us all on our toes with continued innovations. We firmly believe that the rising tide lifts all boats, and we're honored for the company of these wineries we respect so much. The full schedule of producers can be found on our website. See you Sunday!
