Ensuring the security of your ballot is our top priority. Did you know that outdoor mail ballot drop boxes are made of heavy 18-gauge steel? They are also equipped with security features such as narrow ballot insertion slots; have a tamper-deterrent design; are locked; and bolted to concrete on the inside of the box to deter theft. Ballot drop-off locations are placed in areas that have higher public visibility, and ballots are picked-up by official election workers on a regular basis for processing. Your ballot is secure in all ways. For more info, visit SBCountyElections.com
