Code Enforcement recently responded to complaints about several recreational vehicles (RVs) parked along a street in unincorporated Fontana. These RVs had remained stationary for many weeks, with some appearing abandoned and surrounded by accumulating trash. In response, Code Enforcement Officers issued 72-hour notices for several RVs, requiring them to be moved.
On Friday, June 21, 2024, the officers returned with the San Bernardino County Sheriff to ensure compliance. Several RVs were towed due to non-compliance, and an investigation by Fontana Station Sheriff’s Deputies uncovered additional criminal activities at the site.

Code Enforcement recently completed a month’s long abatement of 30 parcels in the unincorporated area of Adelanto. This area has been historically plagued by illegal dumping, and is adjacent to both Adelanto High School and Donald F. Bradach Elementary School. More than 134 tons of junk/trash and over 200 tires were abated from this area.
Thank you to all the individuals who took part in our community clean-up event in the unincorporated area of Fontana. Our officers were present and supportive throughout the event, which resulted in the collection of tons of trash and e-waste. The County of San Bernardino will continue to take an aggressive approach in fighting illegal cannabis operations in the County. Today, the Board of Supervisors joined me in approving a new ordinance that will help reduce the impact these illegal grows sites have in unincorporated portions of San Bernardino County. This new ordinance will allow San Bernardino County Code Enforcement to immediately issue citations related to illegal cannabis grows and make it easier to clean up those sites. We will be doing more to ensure that we clean up the mess that these criminals leave behind because all of our residents deserve to live in a safe and clean environment.
