Our Story
The Miracle League of San Diego is a charitable organization that provides children with intellectual or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. Miracle League of San Diego has two locations; North County and South Bay. Engel Family Field is located in North County at 1628 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Del Mar. Our Bell Middle School field is located in the South Bay at 620 Briarwood Rd.
During each Miracle League game, every child is given the opportunity to hit the ball and score a run. Miracle League team members are assigned buddies who provide encouragement and assist with hitting the ball and running the bases. Buddies can be fellow schoolmates, adults, college students or anyone who wishes to volunteer his or her time to provide a child with the gift of baseball.
Please become involved in this great opportunity! Check out the website www.miracleleagueofsandiego.org and if you would like to become a buddy, volunteer, coach, or donor, you can sign up on the site and make a difference.
