This afternoon our Chapter President, Jovani Ruiz and members of the board had an opportunity to address our city council and Mayor of Escondido with regards to building more affordable housing for our community to buy and not just rent. We believe the American Dream should be accesible to all, but the recent inventory crisis is affecting the communities we serve. The taxpayers and constituents of Escondido can no longer afford to purchase a home in the town they grew up in. Something needs to be done to allow more construction and to focus policy that will facilitate the process and the roadmap to more housing. Let’s fight for the American Dream for all.
