Sanchez Elementary School Fundraiser — Spark* SF Public Schools A.P. Giannini Middle School PTSA, parents, and community are raising funds for fellow SFUSD students at Sanchez Elementary School. Sanchez’s PTA is just starting and has $300 in its account. Thus, in partnership, we are helping to raise funds for this urgent need

Cada último viernes del mes, tenemos una celebración de aprendizaje en la cafetería de Sánchez. Los estudiantes reciben certificados para reconocer sus hazañas en lo académico o lo social, y vemos fotos de estudiantes en varios espacios de la escuela, aprendiendo. Today was our monthly learning celebration at Sanchez, which we hold on the last Friday of every month. Students receive learning certificates and we watch a slide show of student pictures, learning in all spaces at school.

Ya es otoño en el jardín de Sánchez! Nuestros estudiantes aman aprender de la tierra gracias a Fredi, que viene a nuestra escuela desde FoodCorps. It’s already fall season in the Sanchez garden! Our scholars love learning from the earth thanks to Fredi, our FoodCorps member.

Yesterday we had our official reveal ceremony for our wonderful new mosaic. The whole school came out to witness this event. We are very proud and happy with this new addition to our school!

It was Friday Fun day at Sanchez today (like every day, but better because it’s Friday). Week 1 of school is coming to an end! The Sanchez staff wishes a fabulous weekend! Hoy fue un día divertido en Sánchez (igual que todos los otros días, pero mejor porque es viernes). ¡Se nos acaba la primera semana de escuela! Tod@s nosotr@s en Sánchez les deseamos un fin de semana fabuloso.

First day of school was a great success!!! We all loved seeing our student community back into the classrooms, the hallways, the playground! We missed you so much! El primer dia de escuela del año 2022-2023 fue todo un éxito! Nos encantó ver tantas caras sonrientes en el patio, en los salones de clases, y en los pasillos. Los extrañamos muchísimo!

Teachers are back in the building, preparing for another school year full of learning and with a strong sense of community. We can’t wait to see our students and families on Wednesday August 17th!
