This garden is such an amazing opportunity for these children to learn about growing food, food independence, and even a little science. These two local community heroes do so much for our community, they are appreciated!

The Giving Tree is a beautiful tradition at SCPS. Each year, our community comes alongside our students who would not have gifts under the tree without their support. Unfortunately, the need is higher than in years past. We will need our community's support in a big way. If you'd like to know how you can bring some holiday magic to a child in need right here in our district, please visit https://www.scps.k12.fl.us/cms/One.aspx?portalId=1854109&pageId=2057814 You can also shop via our Amazon Wish List here and have all gifts delivered directly to our main building. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3HP4HC3LBF0A8/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex

Parents are we all ready for a safe night of trick-or-treat?!

It's Halloween and we want to make sure that you are Trick or Treating safely.

We all love candy; however, it is important that you inspect each piece before eating it. Don't eat it if the wrapper is opened or punctured, the treat is discolored, or if it is a homemade goodie from somebody that you do not know.

When in doubt, throw it out!

Pearlie Mae Ford Community Service Club of Sanford, Inc. blessed us with a donation of amazing books. The thoughtful ladies of PMF provided us a diverse collection of titles representing children across a variety of cultures in our community. The Learning Movement relies on community donations for our book supply. We are always grateful when we get donations such as this one that help us provide children with books featuring people who represent their own families and cultures.
