We did it!
We're a few days early, but we are so pleased to announce that we have reached more than $50,000 in donations this month.
We're proud to announce we have raised $62,467 since we started this campaign on November 28, beating our goal by 25 percent!
Of course, this couldn't have happened without the help of The Father's Table. Their generosity is making a difference!
Over the past month, we have had 76 individual donors, including 14 donors who made their first gift to Rescue Outreach Mission.
In addition, we had a few substantial donations this month, including $5,000 from an anonymous donor. Thank you to Chubb Law, VyStar Credit Union, AdventHealth, and Westshore Homes for their substantial gifts in December.
The work is not done, however. If you would like to make a gift to close out this year, please consider giving today.

Don't let all that time with family and friends end with the new year, register today for a little as $15 a person and make memories with your friends and co-workers while supporting ROM.
Thanks to the communities generous support, the guests in the shelter were able to have a very Merry Christmas. Thank you to everyone who supported us!
May your day be filled with love, laughter, and all the season's magic. Thank you all for being the magic of the season for our guests.
As you enjoy the warmth and comfort of your home with your loved ones this holiday season, we ask that you take a moment to remember those who are less fortunate. Our shelter in Seminole County is currently providing a safe haven for 33 children and 64 adults who are experiencing homelessness this Christmas weekend. Your prayers and support can make a real difference in their lives during these trying times. Remember, a little kindness goes a long way.
We are SO close to our goal of completing our match by the end of the year. We have nine days to raise the last $1,274. That's 5 donations of $250 or 12 families being able to donate $100.
ANY donation regardless of size provides a safe shelter and a path to home for those in Seminole County experiencing homelessness. Can you help us reach our goal today? Donate today at https://bit.ly/Match4ROM

We are so grateful for all of the support the community has shown us through this holiday season. Thank you for
Snacks! St. Stephen's Lutheran Church stuffed special snack bags for the kids in our shelter this holiday season. We handed out the treats this past Saturday as the kids visited with Santa, who came to the shelter. Thank you so much for thinking of the kids in the shelter during this time!
We hosted a great Cookies & Cocoa event at the shelter tonight for our families. It was so great to have families together enjoying time together and making holiday memories.
Thank you, Discovery Chiropractic, for hosting a personal care drive for the guests in our shelter. The full sized personal care items that you collected will be used by our guests during their stay with us.
We are still working on our match and need your help. Last night, on one of the coldest nights of the year, we had nearly 100 guests staying at Rescue Outreach Mission, including 33 children. Our community has more than 25 families waiting for a safe shelter and a pathway to home but are sleeping in their car or at a hotel.

First United Methodist Church , Sanford Lake Mary Kiwanis, and The Umbrella Brigade came together today to create an epic event for the families in our shelter today. Parents had the ability to "shop" for their kids in the gift shop and have presents wrapped up to be delivered Christmas Eve. While parents were shopping, the kids participated in story time, crafts, cookie decorating, and choosing gifts for their parents. A visit to the shelter by Mr. And Mrs. Clause capped the event and created smiles for kids and adults alike while Lake Mary Church provided lunch to our guests.
Thank you all for bringing so much joy to our guests today!
The Central Florida Indian Community Networking Group came out to provide an authentic Indian dish lunch to our guests last week. Thank you for serving our guests!
Join us as we work to support our Seminole County neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. No donation is ever too small, but now through the end of the year, your donation will go further through a match from The Father's TabIe
