Ethnos360
www.ethnos360.org/about Ethnos360 is steadfast in its goal of reaching people who have no access to the Gospel.
That was the vision for our ministry when we were founded in 1942 as New Tribes Mission, and it is our vision today. Our founders had a vision for reaching the world: “By unflinching determination we hazard our lives and gamble all for Christ until we have reached the last tribe regardless of where that tribe might be.” - Brown Gold, our magazine in 1943, Issue 1
That vision hasn’t changed, but

Derek and Chantal Chen minister among the Tanguat people of Papua New Guinea. “[Recently] the church started hearing teaching from the Gospel of Mark for the first time. … One of the biggest challenges in church right now is forming the believers’ identities in Christ … Please pray for God’s Spirit to work in the people’s hearts as they learn from His Word! Since starting the new series on Mark, we thought it would be a great time to reach out to the most underrepresented demographic in our church: young men in their teens and 20s. … Pray that God would draw them to Himself and that they would see their need for a Savior!”

Adam and Julie Martin minister to the Akolet church of Papua New Guinea. They are currently working on the Akolet translation from the USA. The Martins were able to connect with the rest of the translation team through a video call to complete the translation check for the book of Hebrews. “The Akolet New Testament is right at 50% completed, with another 30% in various stages of completion.”
Praise God for the progress made in the Akolet translation and the impact it is having in the lives of the Akolet people, particularly in the life of translation helper Toni. Pray that the Akolet believers would continue to take the gospel to their neighbors. Pray for unity in the Akolet church.

Paul and Ellen Swenson minister among the Tanguat people of Papua New Guinea. In February we prayed that adults from A and M villages would come to an outreach literacy class and that the Lord would calm the students’ fears. Praise the Lord that “the adult students from A and M villages did indeed come to start learning to read in their heart language, ... and some have even spent some nights here even though many people in their villages are scared that our people could do sorcery on them. ... Be praying that God will continue to prepare the people from those two villages to hear His redemptive plan for mankind as we plan to teach them next year. Also, our Bible study for new church attendees here has finished. All 13 said they believed Jesus is their Savior. They understood what they had been taught to varying degrees. Pray that they remain faithful and grow in their understanding and love for Christ!”
Matthew 4:18-22

Wes Goddard ministers among the Paí people of Paraguay. Wes and two Paí co-workers recently had the opportunity to minister to believers at workshops in two different communities in Brazil. The workshops trained Bible teachers in teaching systemically through the Bible. Wes and his co-workers have also been invited to teach at a workshop for two churches among the Ava Guaraní people of Paraguay.
All throughout church history, missionaries have counted the cost to get the gospel to the unreached. Time and time again, it has been and is worth it!
There are 6,000+ people groups remaining with no access to the gospel. We’re going. You coming?
