Hi Midway Friends and Families!

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween, if you celebrate. I can't believe it's November already!

My first thing I want to highlight is the November Monthly Challenge. On the home screen of your app, right in the middle, are your monthly challenges. They are a great way to earn extra Box Tops for the school. You do have to activate the challenge, so be sure to do that on November 1st. This months challenge is you earn 20 Bonus Box Tops when you buy any 10 participating products.

Thanksgiving is coming up fast so keep that in mind when shopping for your family table. Be sure to visit the products tab in the app to check out all the amazing items that are part of the Box Tops program.

Also, during the month of November, if you connect your Walmart account to the Box Tops app you'll earn $5, just for connecting! It's so super easy, the easiest way you'll earn $5 for your school.
I hope you have a wonderful fall break and Thanksgiving. Don't eat too much and don't shop too hard. As always, comment below if you have any questions.

A time was had at the M&M Monster Mash! We absolutely enjoyed all of the wonderful stations setup by the very best! Our scholars & families understood the assignment with their amazing costumes. They were to die for. 👻

National PTA has established a Disaster Relief Fund to provide financial assistance to local PTA units and other school communities that face significant natural or man-made crises that grievously disrupt school or the education system in a region or community. The purpose is to improve the welfare of children disrupted by the event and not supplant other relief support efforts. The Disaster Relief Fund is dependent on donations from individuals in the National PTA community of supporters. Funds will be awarded as available.

Good afternoon, Midway Families,

Our school was placed on a brief Code Yellow out of an abundance of caution due to a student report of a possible threat on campus. Law enforcement and administration immediately conducted an investigation and found this information to be non-credible. All school operations are ongoing and the Code Yellow has been lifted.

As always, the safety of our students and staff is our highest priority.

On behalf of Midway PTA, we THANK YOU all of those who supported our 2024 Calendar Fundraiser. All money brought in will fund PTA initiatives throughout the school year. Some of our initiatives are givebacks during most PTA/School-related events, Breakfast with a Buddy, science kits, ice pops for squad rallies, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, core-curriculum programs, testing snacks, and more.

Here are the details on prize distribution, which will all take place this Friday, 10/25/24:

We will place a completed squad card for all participants in their respective teacher's mailboxes to distribute to the students.
Students who raised $50 can wear school-appropriate PJS on Friday, October 25th.
Students who raised $150 will receive an ice pop at lunch during their lunch period.
Students who raised $250 will meet in the lobby to pick out our treasure box after the morning announcements.
Students who raised $350 will be called out of class at 1:45 to silly string an admin.
Students who raised $465+ enjoy a pizza party at approximately 2:00pm.
