📢 Exciting news! Mayo Clinic's Comprehensive Cancer Center and Columbia University have been awarded a $10.6 million grant from NCI to advance Glioblastoma research.

Through MOSAIC, a revolutionary Mathematical Oncology Systems Analysis Imaging Center, healthcare professionals aim to use mathematical models & MRI to predict tumor biology in unbiopsied regions.

🎄❤️ A heartfelt message from Sue Vosburg, mother of Melissa: “With tonight being Light Up Sanford, it brings me back to the December in 2012 when everything changed.

These photos capture a beautiful moment at the Christmas parade, where my daughter and I were surrounded by love and joy. Little did we know, she was just about to be diagnosed. Her students from a Midway Elementary school were marching in the parade, she beamed with pride, waving to them.

It was a bittersweet memory, as November had brought her first migraine symptom before Thanksgiving. Let's cherish the moments that shape us and continue raising awareness about invisible illnesses like hers.” 🧠❤️

Their groundbreaking research aims to identify a crucial metabolic pathway in GBM, essential for tumor growth and resistance to drugs. 🎯 By discovering "designer drugs" that can disable this pathway, they're determined to halt tumor growth.
