CEF is an international non-profit Christian organization (founded in 1937) to evangelize, disciple, and establish children in local churches.
Programs under the umbrella of CEF include Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, and Junior Youth Challenge clubs.
Children and families had a great time at the Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara Fall Festival! They were able to learn more about God, and they each received a Gospel bracelet.
The Vieja Valley Good News Club enjoyed putting together a craft about the Israelites escaping from Egypt and crossing the Red Sea on dry land to safety.
The CEF Santa Barbara golf tournament is a resounding success! Golfers are having fun while supporting our Good News Cubs and summer camps - sharing the Lord with the children in our public schools!
everyone. The Child Evangelism Fellowship golf tournament is taking place next week and we have openings for a few more golfers! If you golf or know of someone who does, please encourage them to participate. For more information, visit cefsantabarbara.org/golf. Thank you!
Please come and join our FREE after school program, The Good News Club, and have fun with friends all while learning about Jesus.
This past Saturday, we hosted a meeting and training for new and current Good News Club volunteers. We had 21 people in attendance with 8 newcomers. The day included learning how to share the Gospel using the wordless book. This is the foundation that provides strong biblical truths for when you teach the children and others. We are very excited and can’t wait to share the Gospel with the children. Please keep all our volunteers in your prayers.
Are you interested in helping kids learn about the Lord while having a blast at one of our free after-school Good News Clubs in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Goleta, Lompoc, or Santa Ynez?
Join us for our training and more information on Saturday, September 7th at Calvary Baptist Church, Santa Barbara.
Please RSVP to [email protected],... Bring your friends!
From Sharon Jegottka:
Hi Friends,
This is my friend below and she is the director for Child Evangelism Fellowship in Pasadena. She made this video calling all Christians to volunteer their time to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children.
I am the Ministry Coordinator for Child Evangelism Fellowship South Santa Barbara County. School is starting and our Good News Clubs will be starting soon as well. We need Bible believing Christians to volunteer their time once a week to share the Gospel to the children at our after school program, the Good News Club. Won't you please consider volunteering your time.
Please watch the video and I hope your hearts will be stirred to volunteer right here in Santa Barbara!
If you want to know more or have questions please send me a message.
Thank you!
