The first General Assembly is upon us on October 11th at 6PM! All grad students are invited to GSA Earth Day Lunch on April 27th at 12pm at the GSA Lounge. We will be serving veggie burgers and other healthy snacks. Come meet your fellow grad students and celebrate our beautiful planet! The lunch is first come, first serve.
We will also have a pop up by Thrive, Basic Needs at UCSB ! Come and hear about housing, financial, technology access, and food security resources tailored for graduate students.

Join us on Tuesday, March 29th, 12 - 1:30pm at the GSA Lounge for a lunch + info session* for those interested in running for the GSA board positions. Come have some delicious food from Kyle's Kitchen and learn about the executive board positions and ask questions about GSA elections.

**GSA positions are considered 0% appointments, so all international student-employees can apply.

UC Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara County Public Health Department are continuing their partnership to offer boosters for our local community on Tuesdays and Fridays through the end of February at Embarcadero Hall. AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE CHANCELLOR: "In consultation with other campuses, the Office of the President, our Academic Senate, campus health officials, students, and others in our campus community, and at the recommendation of the COVID-19 Working Group, UC Santa Barbara has decided to begin Winter quarter on January 3 with two weeks of remote instruction. In-person instruction will resume on January 18, subject to reassessment of the situation early in Winter quarter."
