Our Story
Homestead Community Land Trust preserves and advances access to permanently affordable homeownership as a means to create thriving, equitable and inclusive communities.
We put the dream of homeownership within reach of hard-working, modest income families, giving them a stable housing payment, and putting them on the path to build equity that makes other dreams possible.
Partnering with modest income households (who earned less than 80% area median income), we have created the largest portfolio of permanently affordable homes in Washington State. Every home we build gives affordability a permanent address in its neighborhood and prevents further displacement of modest income people as neighborhoods revitalize.
We welcome the opportunity to serve community partners and organizations in King County whose goals may be best served by the benefits of our community land trust.
