Celiz has done incredible work in our office and with our student leaders over the past year. She brings joy to all that she touches, and we are thankful to be a part of her team! The Fall Virtual Career Fair is quickly approaching! Register today to meet with employers looking to hire students just like you! Sign-up to meet with only the employers you want to meet. Employers will be offering 30 minute information sessions as well as 1:1 meetings! All appointments are on a first come, first served basis! Register on Handshake through October 28th.

At the CCC, we believe everyone deserves to be proud of who they are. People with disabilities work hard to achieve things others take for granted every day. This month, let's take the time to learn some best practices for offering solidarity to people with disabilities, together. ⁠

Check out these three "best practices" as a starting point and challenge yourself to keep learning more.

We want to equip and encourage students and alumni with resources that are relevant to their lived experiences. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to highlight a few organizations and non-profits that are doing the work to make the workplace a diverse and safe environment for people of Hispanic and Latinx heritage. ⁠

Resident Peer Career Advisors have excellent written and oral communication skills, are team players, exhibit ability to take initiative, and are willing to learn!⁠

If that sounds like you, you should apply to be a Resident Peer Career Advisor for the 2021-2022 academic year! This is a paid position and will give you the opportunity to develop insight regarding personal career skills, strength, and goals.⁠
