Meanwhile in the criminal case in Caddo Parish District Court the four officers have requested a bench trial with the judge. That trial is set for June. Officers Brian Ross, James LeClare, Treona McCarter, and D’Marea Johnson are charged with negligent homicide and malfeasance in office.
