Allows “Kids to be Kids” by providing adaptive bikes to children with special needs. Riley’s Bikes is giving children the opportunity for Kids to be Kids.
There is no feeling, no reward, no smile as amazing as seeing a little girl with Cerebral Palsy ride a bike for the first time. The sparkle in her eyes and the tears in her mother’s eyes as she laughs and smiles at her accomplishment. This is the freedom a child feels when they have the mobility to ride a bike just like the other children.

The Slidell Police Department and St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 are hosting a blood drive for retired Slidell Police officer, George Skinner.
He was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma in October of 2020 and beat it! He is now battling a second type of cancer and will undergo a bone marrow transplant soon. Fortunately, his son is the donor. Post transplant blood transfusions will be a vital part of his recovery.
Officer Skinner spent a large portion of his life protecting and serving the citizens of Slidell. He retired in 2014 as a motorcycle officer.
