On the eve of our Congressional Fly-In, we are excited to announce a major victory for our advocacy efforts.
Thanks to the hard work of Congressman Joe Courtney, along with the Navy League Legislative Affairs Department and our dedicated members, the House Armed Services Committee has decided to include funding for a second Virginia-class submarine in its upcoming NDAA markup. Our advocacy efforts involved actively assisting in gaining cosigners for a bipartisan letter advocating for the second submarine.
