Ten Thousand Reasons (TTR) is a community of Whitefield families investing in our students, empowering them to fund charitable initiatives.
Welcome back to school, Whitefield Academy family! π This will be our 10TH YEAR making a remarkable impact together, both in our local community and around the world. We're excited to celebrate another year of partnership with Whitefield and can't wait to see what we'll accomplish together. Letβs continue to inspire change and create a brighter future!
Whitefield Academystudents, Claire and Graham Harris, applied for a grant on behalf of TFallsFoundation Inc. Their efforts secured a $12,000 donation for Muthengera Primary School in Africa. This grant will directly impact the lives of students by funding 300 desks and chairs for six classrooms.
The lack of basic resources like desks can hinder learning and perpetuate poverty. This grant will provide a more comfortable and conducive environment for students, fostering a brighter future for countless individuals. The impact of these grant funds extends beyond the classroom, empowering future generations to reach their full potential.

So excited for all of our grant recipients! The grants awarded today will have an incredible impact on so many lives.
βThis yearβs impact:
-150 cases of therapeutic food will go to severely mal-nutritioned children in Haiti
-a primary school in Kenya will receive 300 desks and chairs
-530 Guatemalan children will receive food for a trimester so their funds will be diverted to educational curriculum
-400 women impacted by disability will receive a Spa Day at camp
-12 children whose parents are incarcerated will go to summer camp
-the first gospel-centered class will be taught in an Atlanta Public School for credit
-800 people will receive fresh produce for two weeks

BIG NEWS!! Light from Light was awarded a $10,800 grant today by to provide PlumpyβNut through the Lespwa Timoun clinic in Haiti!!
We are so humbled and grateful - a huge thank you to Mary Harper, Clay, Reed, and McLaine ( and - yβall have some amazing kiddos)!
They did the hard work of preparing the grant proposal and giving a presentation in front of a packed house on Sunday as part of a competitive selection process.
Severe acute malnutrition is a widespread problem among children in Haiti; this grant will supply the clinic with 150 cases of PlumpyβNut- enough to provide a full 3-month course of life-saving treatment to between 83-125 children!
We are grateful for Godβs provision, for the wonderful Copley kids, and for all of the generous partners at Ten Thousand Reasons and ππΌβ€οΈππΉ
Yesterday was truly inspiring! A record-breaking 11 student groups presented their grant proposals on behalf of their chosen charities. Their passion and dedication were truly inspiring! β¨
