For the 4th of July lunch celebration at Post 160, there will also be live entertainment with Kitty and the Cats! The feature light, pop and folk rock! Come out to enjoy and celebrate!

Smyrna's renowned annual Memorial Day ceremony will take place on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 9:30 AM. It will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, 2800 King Street, in downtown Smyrna. American Legion Award for Military Excellence
Post 160 Executive Committee Member Michael Cameron presents the American Legion Award for Military Excellence to Campbell High School Army JROTC Cadet First Sergeant Kam Torrance. The award was presented on Monday 29 April at Campbell High School in an Awards Ceremony.

Bring your site seeing crew to American Legion Post 160 of Smyrna for dinner this weekend before heading out on the tour. The philly cheese goes great with a rainy Friday night & holiday lights!

Smyrna Bright Nights is back and features an interactive map that will highlight homes that have lights displays around Smyrna. After a great Veterans Day program in the City of Smyrna and a delicious lunch at American Legion Post 160 of Smyrna, it was time to pack the Movie Night buckets.

Our ALA Unit 160 & guest volunteers made quick work of the sorting, stuffing, and wrapping. Thanks to your generous donations over the last month our original goal of 30 doubled. We packed 63 buckets full of popcorn, candy, chips, and Cheez-its. These Movie Night buckets will go to servicemembers at Dobbins as part of Operation Homefront Holiday Meals for Military Families. Be sure to check out all the photos for some interesting history on the Dobbins base and the man it was named after.

Kudos to Chairs Robin Lnenicka and Ida Chisamore on their first National Security event. Thanks to all who donated and volunteered.
