Spokane Arts Awards are around the corner. Nominations are currently open. If you'd like to apply for a nomination for MY TURN THEATER, we would so appreciate it. This is not a voting situation, or a popularity contest, it's just the nomination from which the committee will select the recipient. It is this sort of community recognition that helps us obtain grants for our program to continue. You may nominate us in any of the categories you wish. Thanks so much for your support.

We need your help. Our ACTORS need your help. We have a lot of actors for this production and we've promised them on-stage support. They're excited but scared of going it alone. Please consider joining us as a shadow actor.
A SHADOW ACTOR is assigned to an actor and provides a safety net for them, helping them learn their lines and blocking during rehearsals, coaching and being a friend. Then being on stage during the production, giving the actor confidence and allaying any fear.
It's not a difficult job and don't worry about "doing it wrong". There is no wrong way to help people. We've been doing this since 2016 and we've yet to see a shadow actor that "failed". It's always been a joyous experience for everybody.
AGAIN, WE ARE VERY NEEDY RIGHT NOW. We're a month into rehearsals and two months away from opening night. Our actors look around at every rehearsal to see if there is a shadow for them.
Please be that hero!
It's tonight! March 7, Auditions for "Beauty and the Beast Jr"! Actors and shadow actors, c'mon down to the Highland Park United Methodist Church at 611 S. Garfield, Spokane, WA at 6:00. Can't wait to see you! Visit our website

So very proud of Eric and Bridget, leads on "Sweeney Todd" opening in Spokane this week. Both have worked with our actors on our productions ("Mary Poppins" and "Guys and Dolls"). Stage Left places its own stamp on Sweeney Todd Packing big shows in a small space isn’t easy. “But we’re known for doing it,” Stage Left Artistic Director Jeremy Whittington said. “We just finished ‘Rocky Horror’ and that turned out well.”
