TALK TO THE FILMMAKERS! Bad Ass Vegan John Lewis & Keegan Kuhn!
“They’re Trying To Kill Us” - This powerful film exposes how our broken food system is disproportionately killing the African-American community and other communities of color. It focuses on food (in)justice told through the lens of Hip Hop and urban culture, produced by Keegan Kuhn (Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, What The Health) and John Lewis (BAD ASS VEGAN, Vegan Smart). The film addresses food access and food deserts, nutritional and environmental racism, diet-related diseases, racial disparities of disease, government corruption, animal cruelty, climate change and ultimately how the influence of Hip Hop will save the world.

OK! So you’re veg curious… or even completely plant-based! What’s the next leap to fulfilling your potential and living happy, joyous and free of illness and sluggishness? The Plant Based Athlete is a must-read book for anyone interested in fitness, health, and longevity. This book offers a game-changing approach to peak performance. In this podcast, we meet the authors, super athletes Robert Cheeke Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness and Matt Frazier of No Meat Athlete. Of course, thanks to hit documentaries like The Game Changers, we now know that many of the world's top athletes are already plant-based. This book goes further and dives deep into the many reasons why you do not need to eat animals or their byproducts to live, work and work out in peak form. In this podcast, these two athletes talk to JaneUnChained.com's Jane Velez-Mitchell about the specific nutrition changes that can radically improve your power, energy, and performance, laying out 60 recipes to get you ripped, running, and jumping with the best of them. We have decided to give the event a bit more time to bake in the oven before being ready. The Kind Living Collective board decided to expand the event in many ways. Instead of a simple 1 day event it has become a week long online festival with 12 events each day. We are diligently working with chefs, musicians and paradigm shifting leaders to co-create something really incredible for the world. Stay tuned for details.
