What's the best way to get your cat safely to the vet? In a cat friendly carrier of course! Making your carrier a safe and familiar safe- by including their favorite toy and bedding that smells like home. If your cat OR dog has crate aversion (they hide every time the carrier comes out), leave the carrier out and feed them in it, or place treats in it the week before your appointment. Turn that carrier into a cozy den for your pet, and make it to the vet with everyone feeling great!

The CDC has announced new travel guidelines for your pets, which includes travel to Canada. Please be sure your furry family members are prepared to travel this August. If you have questions, please give us a ring and our friendly Travel Consultants are happy to help!

Please don't wait until the last minute to make sure everyone has a safe and fun holiday!
Here's some tips to help your pet's holiday more relaxing:
🎆Make sure your pet's microchip information is up to date
🎆Make sure your pet is wearing an ID collar
🎆Walk / play with your pets prior to nightfall (a tired pet can sleep better)
🎆Play soothing music / white noise to muffle fireworks
🎆Provide them a safe and familiar space, ideally a room without an outside wall
🎆If your pet needs medication, give it to them prior to fireworks starting, don't wait until they are already stressed
