We are excited to announce Chrystal Ortega as this year's President Elect of the Inland Northwest Development Council (INDC)!

Chrystal is the Executive Director of Feed Spokane, an amazing organization dedicated to eliminating food waste and supporting food pantries. Last year, Feed Spokane rescued ONE MILLION meals, redistributing them to local food pantries and meal sites. They are on track to achieve this again in 2024, thanks to their incredible volunteers.

Chrystal transitioned from military service to the nonprofit sector in 2016. Her passion for nonprofit work was nurtured by her experience with Leadership Spokane, where she remains an active alumni member. She believes in the power of networking and partnerships that INDC fosters in our community.

Leslie is the Grants Administrator for Believe in Me, a Spokane nonprofit helping marginalized youth. She excels in grant programs, fundraising strategy, scholarships, events, and marketing.

Leslie's background includes roles at Panhandle Area Council and Real Escape from the S*x Trade. She's also a Leadership Spokane Class of 2024 member and serves on the United Way of Spokane County board.
