"I did 120 month sentence in the Feds. When I got out, PuraVida (what Reclaim Project was called at the time) gave me a place to belong, a place to go.
As I embarked on this new sober journey, I believe the physical fitness in the community were instrumental in my success.
A few of the guys did the Spartan Beast right around then. I couldn’t swing it financially but told my self I was gonna do all 3 races in a weekend one day. So, wearing the Reclaim Project shirt I did for each race was very special for me. I wore Soul Patrol Ministry shirt for the Beast, Reclaim Project for my Super, and House of Recovery Church for my sprint.
That’s my story.
That was almost 10 years ago. Shawn been at this a while. Thank God."
