So far we have delivered toy bins to Shaw Middle School, Garry Middle School, On Track Academy, Cooper Elementary School, Logan Elementary, Lidgerwood Elementary School, Stevens Elementary, Bemiss Elementary, Regal Elementary, and Spokane Head Start Northeast Community Center.

We were excited to partner with Manzanita House for this sessionโs Digital Literacy classes at the Northeast Community Center. Weโve just finished up with an amazing group of graduates who received a free laptop with completion of all of the courses! We canโt wait to see what they do with their new skills and knowledge around technology and digital navigation!
Spokane Community College's SEER program will be offering FREE support groups, workshops, and other services beginning January 8th. Learn more at their website by scrolling down to "Winter Quarter."
Wellness Activities Groups are accessible by contacting Ronda Hain at [email protected] to inform her what you wish to participate in. All groups and workshops to be held in building 16, room 170 (next door to the library)

Gonzaga University's School of Leadership Studies is offering their FREE Spokane Neighborhood Leadership Academy again in 2024! Applications are open, and accepted until January 5th. We have had several Northeast residents go through this course in the past, and they have become fabulous leaders for our community! Get more information and apply at their website.

ZONE staff spent time at On Track Academy's showcase today, talking with students about their projects this semester. We learned about litter, video games, sewing, art, and more! These kids are dynamic and motivated.

Yesterday we partnered with Four Roots, Shaw Middle School, On Track Academy, and Spokane Public Library Hillyard to distribute 116 boxes of fresh food to local families. Our GU Wolff Fellow got to help too!

Our first Family Movie Night with NorthEast Support Team-NEST Coalition and Shaw Middle School was a HUGE success! We had over 130 people attend, and they received dinner and awesome Halloween SWAG, courtesy of URM Stores - Warehouse!
There were also super creative costumes, and 1st place went to Gum ball Machine! 2nd Place was Baby Pumpkin!
